IMPERIAL FRIEND emerged after bassist/vocalist Sherri Brady Carter and drummer/vocalist Heather Jones Lotti dissolved UDDER, the band they founded in Athens, Georgia, in the early 90s and briefly reunited with in 2025.

​

During their reunion, they released an EP of three songs, with much acclaim from VICE magazine, and Maximum Rock n Roll among others.  

​

Sherri and Heather have amassed an album's worth of soon-to-be-recorded hits. They are currently working with their new guitarist, Marissa, to refine the songs before they head into the studio with plans to record and release their debut album in early 2027.

UDDER Or I'll Kill You EP

Heather and Sherri originally formed UDDER in early ’90s Athens, Georgia. The band reunited in 2025 to finally release their long‑shelved 1991 recording session with David Barbe (Mercyland, Sugar)—a three‑song EP—before closing the chapter on the band in 2026.

During UDDER's reunion, they played their record release at the 40 Watt, several shows at Nowhere Bar (also in Athens, GA) and one show in Winston-Salem, NC at Fair Witness.
